Bible Studies I Recommend

For much of my life, I have been the type of girl who hasn’t used bible studies. In 2018, God gave my husband and I the word “rooted” for the year, and I felt it was time to switch up my bible reading. With that in mind, I went on the hunt for some good rooted bible studies. What I found is there is a lot of junk out there, so this is a list of studies I have either personally done, or held in my hands. I know they are good and worth while!

Well Watered Women:
I would highly recommend anything by this company. Each study is deep and has something for every Christian. Click HERE to check out all the resources. Here’s the highlights:

  • Give Me Jesus Journal: This journal is designed to help guide you through a reading plan. If you are the type of person who doesn’t like a lot of rules, this journal gives you  some structure, but really gives you the room to study how you want. It’s a great way to help you dig in without a lot of structure.
  • Walk In Grace Journal: These journals are much like the Give me Jesus journal, however they are designed to walk the reader specifically through the book of Ephesians and Colossians. If you aren’t sure about the Give Me Jesus Journal, this is a good place to start.
  • Flourish: This is a great 8 week study on the fruits of the spirit.
  • Breathe: This study teaches you how to pray the Psalms.

I could go on and on about this company! Check them out, I don’t think you will be sorry!

Jen Wilkin:
en is an amazing author that writes so much truth. I was first introduced to her writing when I read “Women of Word”. This book expertly shows how to build a foundation of knowledge of the bible. It explains why we study the bible, how to study, and how to avoid some of the common pitfalls that we can fall into while studying. It presents a straight forward study method that will teach you something whether you are just starting to read the bible or if you have read for years. You can check it out HERE.

Jen is an author of bible studies. You can download many of her studies for free HERE.
